NA Vice Chairman Nguyen Duc Hai extends Tet greetings to compatriots and soldiers in Kon Tum

NA Vice Chairman Nguyen Duc Hai presents 320 gifts to village elders, village chiefs, poor and near-poverty households, policy beneficiary families and B’rau ethnic people.

NDO - Member of the Party Central Committee and Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Nguyen Duc Hai, paid a visit and extended greetings to people and soldiers in Ngoc Hoi border district, in the Central Highlands province of Kon Tum, on January 22,for the occasion of the upcoming Lunar New Year (Tet) festival.

In Iek village, Po Y commune, Ngoc Hoi district, Kon Tum province, the delegation heard the leaders of Po Y commune report on the socio-economic situation, and the work on national defence and security within the area.

Iek village, Po Y commune, Ngoc Hoi district, has 286 households, 993 people with 13 ethnic groups living together, of which the B'rau are very few. The village has 12 poor households and 11 near-poverty households, 21 policy beneficiary households and people with meritorious service.

The average income per capita is estimated at 40 million VND per year. Total agricultural land area is more than 880 hectares and the total herd of cattle and poultry is nearly 4,400 units.

Meanwhile, Member of the Party Central Committee, Head of the National Assembly's Ethnic Council Y Thanh Ha NieKdam, presented 150 gifts to Ngoc Hoi district and Po Y commune.

On the morning of the same day, NA Vice Chairman Nguyen Duc Hai visited officers and soldiers of Bo Y International Border Gate.

He expressed his wish, that the officers and soldiers of Bo Y International Border Gate Station, continue to exert more efforts to fulfil all assigned tasks in the coming year.
