The event was jointly held by the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of the Central Agencies Bloc and the Youth Unions of Nhan Dan (People) Newspaper and the Vietnam News Agency.

Speaking at the event, Nhan Dan’s Editor-in-chief Le Quoc Minh, who is a member of the Party Central Committee (PCC), Deputy Head of the PCC Commission for Communication and Education, and Chairman of Vietnam Journalists’ Association, stressed the importance of nurturing revolutionary ideals and enhancing the political stance of young journalists, particularly in the context of the constant changes of the information revolution.

He noted with pleasure that Nhan Dan Newspaper has taken measures to attract more young readers, including youth union members.

At the seminar, young journalists and youth union members discussed methods to foster the revolutionary ideals, political stance, civic responsibility, and professional ethics of young journalists.

They emphasised the role of young journalists in safeguarding the Party's ideological foundation, fighting against distorted allegations of hostile forces, and dealing with fake news.
