Front leader extends Lunar New Year greetings in Cao Bang Province

President of the Vietnamese Fatherland Front (VFF) Do Van Chien paid a Lunar New Year (Tet) visit to the northern province of Cao Bang on January 24 and 25.

During the visit, Chien was briefed by provincial leaders on Cao Bang’s social economic development over the past year. He was informed that the provincial economy grew by 3.33%, despite the difficulties due to COVID-19.

VFF President Do Van Chien spoke highly of the efforts of Cao Bang’s government and its people, specifically, in the fight against coronavirus, economic development and ensuring social security.

On behalf of the Party and State leaders, Chien extended his best wishes to Cao Bang Province, expecting that they will promote the spirit of solidarity to make the province wealthier and more beautiful.

On the occasion, the VFF leader presented Tet gifts to disadvantaged workers, poor households, policy beneficiaries and border guards of Cao Bang Province.
