The event is jointly held by the Dak Lak provincial Journalists’ Association, in coordination with the provincial Department of Information and Communications, and the provincial library.

The festival displays the spring issues of 225 newspapers and magazines, by 118 centrally-run and local press agencies.

The publications feature articles, reportages and photos, each praising the Party, the new spring and President Ho Chi Minh.

They also cover the achievements throughout various fields of politics, socio-economics, defence, security, diplomacy and the fight against COVID-19 within Vietnam and Dak Lak province in particular.

In addition, readers are introduced to traditional customs and the spring celebrations of ethnic groups across the country.

The festival will run until February 4. The publications on display will then be presented to naval officers and soldiers, who are stationed in sea and island regions.
