Nhan Dan Newspaper marks Party’s 92nd founding anniversary

Nhan Dan (People) Newspaper held a meeting at its headquarters in Hanoi on January 27 to celebrate the 92nd founding anniversary of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3, 1930-2022).

Addressing the meeting, Party Central Committee (PCC) member and Editor-in-chief of Nhan Dan Newspaper Le Quoc Minh reviewed the 92-year history of the Party, and stressed the pride of the glorious Party, great President Ho Chi Minh and the heroic Vietnamese people as well as the significant achievements of the country’s 35-year implementation of the Doi Moi (Renewal) process.

Minh, who is also Deputy Head of the PCC Commission for Communication and Education Chairman of Vietnam Journalists’ Association, asked the Party Committee of Nhan Dan Newspaper to thoroughly grasp and perform well in the political tasks and Party work for 2022, focusing on popularising the implementation of the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress while providing the public with accurate, timely, comprehensive and objective coverage on socio-political-economic activities and the Party and State’s guidelines and policies.

He also called for greater effort to realise press sector’s task of protecting Party’s ideological foundation and fighting against wrongful and hostile allegations, thus contributing to maintaining political security and social order.

At the event, the Party Committee of Nhan Dan Newspaper presented certificates of merit to outstanding Party organisations and Party members for their excellent achievements in 2021.

* A similar meeting to observe the Party’s 92nd founding anniversary was held on the same day in Son La Province.

Delegates at the event looked back 92-year history of the Communist Party of Vietnam and 82-year establishment and development of the Son La Provincial Party Committee.

On this occasion, the provincial Party Committee presented the Prime Minister’s certificates of merit to two collectives and three individuals who stood out in implementing the campaign on studying and following President Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style in the 2016-2021 period.
