Vietnam Airlines resumes many routes to Japan, RoK

Vietnam Airlines will increase its frequency on eight routes to Japan and the Republic of Korea (RoK) from May 15 and resume three routes to the latter from June 1.

In order to meet the needs of passengers traveling to Japan and the RoK after the pandemic, the airline will promote the use of the modern Boeing 787 wide-body aircraft on these routes.

Specifically, for the Japanese routes, from May 15, the airline will increase its frequency to one to two flights per week on its routes between Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City and Tokyo, Osaka and Nagoya. From July 1, Vietnam Airlines will resume flights between Da Nang and Tokyo.

Thus, Vietnam Airlines will have between 25 and 30 flights per week from Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City to major cities in Japan, mostly using the modern and comfortable Boeing 787 wide-body aircraft.

In terms of the RoK route, from May 15, the airline will increase 3 to 4 flights per week on its routes between Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City and Seoul. This will help ensure that from May 15, Vietnam Airlines has flights on these routes every day, using the Boeing 787 wide-body aircraft.

From June 1, Vietnam Airlines will resume flights between Hanoi and Busan, and between Da Nang and Seoul. From July 1, the airline will resume flights between Ho Chi Minh City and Busan. The frequency of these will be from 3 to 4 flights per week. Notably, the routes between Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City and Busan will be operated using the Boeing 787 wide-body ships from July 2022.

On this occasion, Vietnam Airlines has launched a preferential ticket price of 11.55 million VND (equivalent to 14.5 million VND including taxes and fees) for the Hanoi-Busan route. Regarding the route between Da Nang and Seoul, Vietnam Airlines will deploy preferential fares from 7.5 million VND (equivalent to 10.3 million VND including taxes and fees).The offer applies to customers who buy tickets from now until the end of December 31, 2022, depart from June 1, 2022 to the end of December 31, 2022. Fares are subject to change depending on exchange rate and availability at the time of ticketing.
