PM names members of financial and monetary advisory council

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has signed a decision on the personnel for the National Financial and Monetary Policy Advisory Council, which will be headed by Deputy Prime Minister Le Minh Khai.

The council’s vice chairmen are State Bank of Vietnam Governor Nguyen Thi Hong along with Minister of Finance Ho Duc Phoc.

Its membership is comprised of senior officials from various Government agencies and research institutes as well as economic experts such as Truong Dinh Tuyen, Can Van Luc, Tran Dinh Thien, Vo Tri Thanh and Le Xuan Nghia.

The Council has the mission of advising the Government and the Prime Minister in planning and making important decisions on financial and monetary policies under their jurisdiction.
