It was part of the ASEAN-Russia Year of Scientific and Technical Cooperation 2022.
The event was attended by the Kuzbass Science and Education Centre, the Kuzbass State Technical University, the Siberian State Technological University, and the Russia-Vietnam Friendship Society.
The Vietnamese participants included the Hanoi University of Mining and Geology, the Institute of Technological Innovation and International Training, the University of Economics-Technology for Industries and the Institute of Tropical Technology.
In her opening remarks, Kuzbass’s Deputy Minister of Science and Higher Education Elena Malkina noted that the event will help find out mutual interests in science and determine the promising fields for cooperation.
At the roundtable, delegates introduced their strengths in science, education and training as well as discussed in detail the possibilities of cooperation between the two sides.\
As part of the conference, a cooperation agreement was signed between Vietnamese organisations and universities and the science centres of Kuzbass.
