Prime Minister offers incense at Dong Loc T-junction relic site

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh offered incense at the historic Dong Loc T-junction relic site and visited policy beneficiary families in Ha Tinh province on June 11.

The PM offered incense and flowers at the memorial house dedicated to volunteer martyrs and the tomb of ten female martyrs who laid down their lives at Dong Loc T-junction.

The government leader expressed his infinite gratitude for the great merits of martyrs who devoted their youth and sacrificed themselves for national independence and the people’s happiness. Heroic martyrs will always be shining examples of patriotism, unyielding will, and dedication to the ideals of national independence and socialism.

On the occasion, the PM visited and presented gifts to the family of revolutionary contributor Nguyen Van Minh, former Secretary of the Ha Tinh Party Committee and Heroic Vietnamese Mother Nguyen Thi A.

He also asked the local Party committees and authorities to take care of the lives of policy beneficiary families and revolutionary contributors throughout the locality.

On the same day, the PM inspected the Thach Khe iron mine in Thach Ha district, Ha Tinh province which has been suspended for more than ten years and surveyed the possibility of promoting marine tourism in the region.

He suggested that Ha Tinh province and the Vietnam Coal and Mineral Industries Group seriously absorb the opinions of experts, scientists and local people on the mining project to ensure the harmony between the people and enterprises.
