Vietnam’s new passport promotes images of Vietnam

The Ministry of Public Security issued a new ordinary passport for Vietnamese citizens on July 1.

Each page of the new passport is printed with popular Vietnamese scenic landscapes and cultural heritage.

Each page of the new passport is printed with popular Vietnamese scenic landscapes and cultural heritages, namely Ha Long Bay, Hue Citadel, Hoi An Ancient Town, My Son Sanctuary, Nha Rong Wharf, Lung Cu Flag Tower, and To Vo Gate in Ly Son Island.

The move aims to promote the images, culture, history and geography of Vietnam to the world.

In addition, the new passport is designed with security features that make it difficult to forge.

Passports with the previous design, issued before July 1, 2022, are still valid until the dates of expiration which are printed on the passports.
