The programme was organised by the Ministry of Labour, War Invalids and Social Affairs and related agencies.

The annual programme is held to call for support from the community to help people in difficult circumstances to have a better life.

The special artistic performances, with revolutionary songs praising the love of country, were arranged elaborately throughout the programme.

In addition to revolutionary songs, the programme also featured a number of compositions showing the artists' love for orphans, children with disabilities and elderly people living alone.

At the programme, the organising board called on individuals and collectives to undertake specific activities to share and care for those living in difficult circumstances, ethnic minority children and more than 200 orphans and solitary elderly people in over 100 social protection centres around the country.

On the occasion, the organising board presented nearly 4,000 gifts worth nearly VND4 billion to people in difficult circumstances at the social protection centres in over 60 localities across the country.
