The exhibition showcases a set of 50 black and white pictures taken by photographer Nguyen Van An (alias Thu An), featuring the daily life of AO victims from different cities and provinces across the country.

Entitled ‘Agent Orange (AO) - Message from the Heart’, the collection also highlights their endeavour to overcome disadvantage and their aspiration for a world full of peace and happiness.

Photographer An said that he hoped the collection can bring people together and called on them to share the difficulties of AO victims. He will present his work to the museum after the exhibition closes on August 16.

An’s first pictures of AO victims were taken in 2001, when he visited Hoa Binh village (Tu Du hospital) for children with disabilities. The meetings with AO-affected children there urged him to explore more about the topic. The photoset helped him earn the distinction of ‘Master of International Federation of Photographic Art’ (M.FIAP).
