Speaking at the event, Chairman of the Da Nang People’s Committee Van Huu Chien said the building is of great significance, demonstrating the leaders’ efforts to promote an effective administrative system.

Overlooking the Han River, the centre covers an area of 23.318 square metres with two basement levels and 34 floors. The tower was built at a cost of over VND2.3 trillion (US$111 million).

The administrative tower, designed to look like a lighthouse, stands out against the skyline of Da Nang as an example of the continuous and magnificent development of this young and lively city.

It is one of the most advanced buildings in Vietnam with modern technical infrastructure and a management system to monitor the building’s operations.

The centre is home to 26 departments and branches, as well as the Da Nang People’s Committee. Once it is fully operational, it will provide access to effective and responsive public administration services for citizens and businesses alike.
