The information was released at a working session on September 8 between the Ministry of Home Affairs and President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee (VFFCC) Nguyen Thien Nhan.

The Ministry of Home Affairs said that it has completed building the project which will be implemented in 20 major provinces and cities across the country.

The project defines four basic elements contributing to the quality of administrative services: access to public administrative services, administrative procedures, civil servants' service performance, and results of administrative work settlement.

Speaking at the working session, Politburo member and VFFCC President Nhan said the VFFCC will join the Ministry of Home Affairs in the implementation of the project in 2015 in a bid to enhance the efficiency of administrative reform in Vietnam.

The VFFCC will engage in the project as an independent supervisor to ensure the objectiveness of the final results, he stated.

As planned, the Ministry of Home Affairs and VFFCC will sign a co-ordination programme on the implementation of the project by the end of this year. In addition, the two sides will closely co-ordinate with each other to inform people of the project's purpose and encourage them to participate in the evaluation process.
