The Chapel won the 2014 World Architecture Festival (WAF)’s ‘Construction of the Year’ award and was also winner of the ‘Small Project of the Year’, ‘Landscape of the Year’ and ‘Future Project of the Year’ awards.

The Chapel is a community space in a new urban ward on the outskirts of Ho Chi Minh City. The special house’s design offers an inspiring solution to growing pollution and the shortage of green space in big cities like Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. It includes five separate prismatic blocks, each of which contains a tree planted on its roof. It was completed this year, on 350 square meters in Ho Chi Minh City's Tan Binh District and was the first of its kind in Vietnam built with a bamboo framework.

An awards ceremony is scheduled to take place at the Grand Hotel Saigon, No.8 at Dong Khoi Street, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City on January 11, 2015. The event aims to honour excellent Vietnamese architects, contributing to finding architectural trends in the future.
