With the reduction, the prices of RON 92 petrol and E5 bio-fuel now are no higher than VND 15,968 and VND 15,447 per litre.
The price of mazut was also increased by VND260 per litre to VND9,001 per kilogram. Meanwhile, the prices of diesel and kerosene remained unchanged.
The adjustment was made following the decrease in the final price of petrol and oil worldwide in the past 15 days.
Regarding the petroleum import tax, imported petrol will be taxed at 15.74% instead of 18.35% as before; meanwhile diesel and mazut will be taxed at 1.84% and 0% respectively.
