Under the project, to be implemented from 2016 to 2020 in Loc Vuong Ward in the city of Nam Dinh, a lake surrounded by a pedestrian walkway will be built at Tran Dynasty Cultural Park. The greenery and lighting system in the park will also be upgraded.

The project will also aim to build a courtyard for festive activities and to enhance the drainage, parking and electric systems, as well as to improve tourist services at the site.

The project, invested in by the provincial People’s Committee, aimed to complete the Prime Minister’s master plan on preserving and promoting the value of the Tran Dynasty historical and cultural relic site.

It is among preparations to seek UNESCO recognition for the site as a world heritage site.
