New waterway connects Ho Chi Minh City with Vung Tau city

The public passenger water transport route, connecting Ho Chi Minh City’s centre with Vung Tau city, was officially launched on February 10.

The route, which was funded by the Greenline DP Limited Company, has three passenger boats with a capacity of 50 seats, two 96 seaters, and three others capable of ferrying 151 people.

The 85km route starts from Bach Dang wharf and follows Sai Gon, Nha Be, Long Tau, and Nga Bay rivers to Tac Xuat wharf in Can Gio District. The high-speed boats then continue to move through Ganh Rai for disembarking at Ho May cable car resort in Vung Tau city. The total time for the journey is around 120 minutes.
