‘Friendship Melody’ concert marks Vietnam-Israel diplomatic relations

A ‘Friendship Melody’ concert was staged in Hanoi on April 28 by the Embassy of Israel in Vietnam as an event to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the State of Israel (1948-2018) and the 25th anniversary of bilateral diplomatic relations (1993-2018).

Speaking at the event, Israeli Ambassador to Vietnam Nadav Eshcar recalled that since Israel and Vietnam established their diplomatic ties 25 years ago, their bilateral relations have seen stable developments, especially over the past decade.

He affirmed that Vietnam – Israel relations have prospered even more as the two countries have enhanced cooperation in agriculture, healthcare, education, innovation, and start-ups.

For his part, Vietnam’s Minister of Science and Technology Chu Ngoc Anh congratulated the Israeli people on their huge achievements in national construction and defence over the past seven decades.

The friendship and multifaceted cooperation between Vietnam and Israel have developed fruitfully, he said, stressing that Israel is one of Vietnam’s most important partners in the Middle East region.

He also reasserted Vietnamese Government and people’s desire to foster and enhance their relationship with Israel.
