Music programme celebrates Vietnam – Japan friendship and cooperation

A music programme was held in Hanoi on September 9 to celebrate the 45th anniversary of Vietnam – Japan diplomatic ties (1973-2018).

The event gathered well-known Vietnamese and Japanese artists and groups, who brought beautiful songs and dances to the stage.

Through the music, their performances honoured the beauty of and similarities in culture and the arts between Vietnam and Japan, as well highlighting the bilateral friendship and cooperation between the two countries.

Speaking at the event, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Le Hoai Trung noted with pleasure that the Vietnam – Japan relations are growing robustly and practically across all fields.

He expressed his hope that the music programme would contribute to bolstering the cooperation and cultural exchanges between the two peoples.

For his part, Vietnam-Japan and Japan-Vietnam Special Ambassador, Ryotaro Sugi,, expressed his delight at the growing friendship and cultural links between the two nations, pledging to make further effort to expand the bilateral relations through cultural and artistic activities.
