On behalf of the Party and State leaders, Politburo member Pham Minh Chinh shared the difficulties with the Party committees, local officials and people in the districts, while praising the practical works and the support from the people in Thanh Hoa, as well as the business community and benefactors.
He highly appreciated the direction, management, response and overcoming of the consequences of floods of the Party committee and the provincial authorities.
The politburo member asked Thanh Hoa province to focus on human and material resources in order to re-open the roads on National Highway 15C in the shortest possible time. Muong Lat and Quan Hoa districts were called on to study the land fund for households who have lost their houses, as well as setting up projects on safe, stable and long-term living for households who are living along rivers, streams and flood-prone areas, building Trung Son Primary School and troubleshooting the damaged suspension bridge.
On the occasion, the leader also visited and presented gifts to local people in Poong village, Tam Chung commune.
