Deputy PM meets revolutionary contributors

Politburo member and Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Truong Hoa Binh hosted a reception on September 10 for revolutionary contributors visiting Hanoi from the southern province of Dong Thap.

Speaking at the reception, Deputy PM Binh affirmed that Party and State appreciate and acknowledge the sacrifices and contributions of wounded soldiers, war invalids and other revolutionary contributors to the nation’s fight for independence and freedom.

Acknowledging the delegates’ contributions to national development and protection, he hoped that Dong Thap province’s revolutionaries would continue to promote their resilient revolutionary traditions and act as good examples in implementing Party and State regulations and policies to build a wealthy province.

The Deputy PM also applauded the efforts made by the provincial Party committee, authorities, and people over recent years in providing care for wounded and sick soldiers, families of war martyrs, and national contributors.

He urged them to promote social activities to acknowledge and better care for revolutionary contributors, while further developing the locality’s economy and infrastructure to meet production demands, and improving the living standards of revolutionary contributors and the general population of the province.
