The Press Centre will ensure the necessary equipment and favourable conditions for domestic and international reporters to work during the 14th ASOSAI, which is scheduled to take place from September 19 to 22.

SAV Auditor General and head of the Organisaing Board of the 14th ASOSAI, Ho Duc Phoc, said that this is the first time that the SAV has been trusted to host an ASOSAI Assembly after an almost 21-year membership at the organisation.

The hosting of the 14th ASOSAI Assembly means that the SAV will become the ASOSAI Chair for the 2018-2024 tenure and a member of its Governing Board in the 2015-2024 period.

"This demonstrates the high confidence of the international community in the SAV, while affirming the SAV's strategic vision of international integration and cooperation until 2020. The hosting of the event is also a great honour and responsibility for the SAV to make further contributions to the development of the organisation," the SAV Auditor General said.

He noted that the SAV has actively prepared for the organisation of the event over the past two years and all of the preparations for the event have been completed and the SAV is ready to open the 14th ASOSAI Assembly.

The main activities of the 14th ASOSAI will take place in Hanoi on September 19, 20 and 22, in addition to fringe events to be held in Hanoi and Quang Ninh on September 17, 18 and 21. The event is expected to welcome 250 delegates from 46 Asian supreme audit institutions and 350 guests representing domestic agencies and organisations.
