Deputy PM meets overseas Vietnamese in Poland

Permanent Deputy Prime Minister, Truong Hoa Binh, had a meeting with the staff at the Vietnam Embassy and representatives of the Vietnamese expat community in Poland, on September 19.

Speaking at the gathering, Vietnamese Ambassador to Poland, Vu Dang Dung, briefed the Deputy PM on the embassy’s operations, expatriates’ affairs, and the development of the Vietnam – Poland relations.

The Deputy PM informed the overseas Vietnamese of the country’s socio-economic achievements and discussed the encouraging outcomes in poverty alleviation, development in culture, education, and health, and sustained political stability and social security and order.

He urged the expat community to become a bridge connecting the two nations.

Representatives of Vietnamese associations and clubs in Poland expressed their delight at the progress made in their home country across fields.

They affirmed that the OVs in Poland always closely track the situation in the homeland and uphold great national unity to contribute to its development.
