The facility includes four class rooms with a total area of nearly 300m2, in addition to a toilet and a kitchen.
Speaking at the ceremony, a representative from Nhan Dan newspaper expressed his hope that the authorities of Vi Xuyen district would create favourable conditions for the construction of the school so that it will be completed before the Lunar New Year 2019.
Primary students of local ethnic minority groups are currently learning in poor conditions, while pre-school children have to attend temporary classes at the communal house in the village.
Nhan Dan newspaper and BeeGreen will continue their charitable programmes in Ha Giang in the near future and plan to present 500 gifts to needy households in the border communes of Vi Xuyen district.
