The event, under the framework of the activities to mark the 45th founding anniversary of Vietnam-France diplomatic relations and the 25th anniversary of signing cooperation agreements on health between the two countries, was attended by Vietnamese Health Minister, Nguyen Thi Kim Tien, and the French Minister of Solidarity and Health, as well as representatives of the French Embassy in Vietnam and officials of both sides

Accordingly, the two sides will work closely on training and sharing experiences in the field of cancer treatment; setting up joint projects in research, training and organisation; regularly organise seminars and discussions on the theme of hospital organisation, management, research and teaching, as well as joint development of scientific publications and materials. The exchange of information, research meetings and lectures can be conducted online as technology allows. These events can be held in Paris or Hanoi.

Signing a cooperation agreement in the field of cancer treatment promises to open a new page in the cooperation between K Hospital and the Curie Institute for cancer prevention in Vietnam in the future.
