Arts programme echoes fatherland’s melodies

An arts programme entitled ‘Echoing the Fatherland’s melodies’ was staged at the Hanoi Opera House on January 5, as an event to welcome New Year 2019 and celebrate the 89th founding anniversary of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3, 1930 – 2019).

The event was attended by Politburo member and Permanent member of the Secretariat, Tran Quoc Vuong, and Politburo member and Deputy Prime Minister Vuong Dinh Hue.

The programme featured songs and dances highlighting patriotism, the country’s natural beauty and people, and the love for the national beloved President Ho Chi Minh.

The audience was also entertained with beautiful melodies on the vibrant vitality of the spring and the people’s hope and aspiration in life through the voices of acclaimed singers including People’s Artists Quang Tho and Thai Bao, and Meritorious Artists Dang Duong, Viet Hoan and Phuong Thao, among others.

The event was co-organised by the Department of Performing Arts under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Vietnam National Music Song and Dance Theatre, and the To Quoc online newspaper.
