The WLIN Global Forum is an annual event organised by the Women Leaders International Networking (WLIN), under the direction of the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) and with the companion of Pro Image academy run by Nam Huong Media & Event. During the past five years, the forum has laid positive effects among the local and international business communities, affirming the vision of women in the new era – which is that women can rise and assert themselves in the role of leaders.

The programme has received a warm response and participation of numerous female leaders from all over the world, as well as experts in various fields. The issues mentioned in the forum are analysed and discussed in multiple perspectives, thereby bringing a comprehensive picture of various topics, such as women’s leadership in business, young female leaders - successes and challenges and leadership without borders.

In Vietnam, the forum takes place from April 4 to 7 in Hanoi, Da Nang, Quang Ngai and Quang Nam.

In addition to key figures in Vietnam, the WLIN Global Forum 2019 has expanded its global reach with the participation of guests from Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Hong Kong (China), Kenya, USA, Bosnia and Australia, including Thai Princess Mom Luang Rajadarasri Jayankura, Aurora Aquino from the Consultative Status of Economic Council of United Nations, VCCI Chairman Dr. Vu Tien Loc, Deputy Minister of Home Affairs Nguyen Trong Thua, Chairwoman of Vietnam Women Entrepreneur Council Nguyen Thi Tuyet Minh, and Palestinian Ambassador to Vietnam Saadi Salama.

In mid-March, the WLIN Global had official engagements with iCareBase to accompany a global health care project targeting cancer prevention to offer new knowledge contributing to raising public awareness about preventive medicine, healthcare and timely methods of detecting and treating cancer.

At the WLIN Global Forum 2019, iCareBase signed agreements with WLIN representatives in countries where WLIN Global develops, including Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Kenya and USA, turning WLIN Global members into ambassadors to convey positive messages to the community to help change and raise public awareness on healthcare and cancer prevention.

In addition, the programme also features a ceremony to honour the winner of the Top 50 Women Leaders International Awards 2019 and The Best Brands in Global Award 2019 – the prestigious awards for female leaders and businesses worldwide.

The female leaders honoured in the Top 50 Women Leaders International Awards 2019 are innovative, with initiatives in connecting and working without borders to bring the image of women to a new height. They are also the typical female leaders in 2018-2019 with a positive contribution in the process of confirming the image and position of female leaders in the new era.
