VFF delegation visits Vietnam Buddhist Sangha Supreme Patriarch

A delegation from the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) Central Committee, led by its Vice President Ngo Sach Thuc, paid a courtesy visit to Most Venerable Thich Pho Tue, Supreme Patriarch of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS), on the occasion of the Buddha’s 2563rd birth anniversary.

On behalf of the VFF Standing Board, Vice President Thuc wished good health to Most Venerable Thich Pho Tue, dignitaries and all monks and followers of the VBS..

Placing emphasis on the VBS’s close-knit unity with the nation, the Vice President voiced his hope that Most Venerable Thich Pho Tue would continue leading the VBS to accomplish all its missions and make positive contributions to the country’s general development as well as the spiritual life of people.

Most Venerable Thich Pho Tue expressed his pleasure at welcoming the VFF delegation and affirmed the VBS would continue standing shoulder to shoulder with the nation, bringing happiness and prosperity to the country and actively taking part in the construction and protection of the country.

On the occasion, VFF Vice President Ngo Sach Thuc presented the medal “For the Cause of Great Unity” to Most Venerable Thich Pho Tue for his contribution to the construction and consolidation of the great national unity bloc.
