Role-models share stories on following President Ho Chi Minh’s moral example

Role-models studying and following President Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, morality and style gathered at a conference held by the Party Central Committee (PCC) Commission for Communication and Education in Da Lat on June 8.

The conference also saw the presence of Politburo member, Secretary of the PCC and head of the PCC’s Communication and Education Commission, Vo Van Thuong.

At the conference, five role-models from Central and Central Highlands region talked about their efforts in studying and following President Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, morality and style and the way to apply the President’s teachings to their work and lives.

Stories on simple and noble deeds, kindness and morality truely touched the audience. Nun Nguyen Thi Huong from Tin Thac Shelter in Loc Thanh commune, Bao Loccity, Lam Dong province told stories of raising hundreds of abandoned children from real love of nuns. To date, more than 100 disadvantaged children have been cared for and raised under the love of nuns and benefactors.

At the event, delegates also listened to stories from Sublieutenant A Hi, a border guard from Kon Tum province; Colonel Nguyen Ngoc Minh, Police Chief of Trieu Phong district, Quang Tri province; Nguyen ThiHong Hai, a staff member at a Tay Ho Kindergarten in Tam Loc commune, Phu Ninh district, Quang Nam province and Nguyen Van Muoi, deputy head of NinhThan province’s Department of Communication and Education.

Over the past few years, the campaign devoted tostudying and following President Ho Chi Minh’s ideology and morality has become a vivid expression of people’s love for Uncle Ho and the confidence in the national revolutionary cause in a bid to inspire people to work and live better.
