NA Chairwoman visits policy beneficiary families in Phu Yen

National Assembly (NA) Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan visited and presented gifts to three policy beneficiary families in the South Central province of Phu Yen on June 30.

The visit took place as part of her working visit to Phu Yen on the occasion of the province’s 30th anniversary of re-establishment.

The families included that of Heroic Vietnamese Mother Nguyen Thi Xu, born in 1927, from ward 7; wounded soldier Tran Thi Nga, born in 1954, from ward 5; and wounded soldier Dao Thi Hong Nhan, born in 1954, from ward 9, Tuy Hoa City.

NA Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan extended her best wishes to the families and expressed her deep gratitude to the Heroic Vietnamese Mother and wounded soldiers for their sacrifices and great contributions to the cause of national liberation and defence.

The NA Chairwoman also asked the Party Committee and authorities at all levels in Tuy Hoa City and Phu Yen Province to continue to carry out Party and State policies on war invalids, sick soldiers, families of martyrs, Heroic Vietnamese Mothers and national contributors to help bring their material and spiritual lives into better alignment with national development.
