The government official made the request at a meeting with the provincial leaders on July 22.

He praised the achievements recorded by Binh Dinh in comprehensive development and agricultural restructuring.

The Deputy PM suggested that the province needs to tap into its potential, pay attention to developing the marine economy, and make tourism a major contribution to its economic growth.

He also urged Binh Dinh to restructure agriculture by increasing the added value of agricultural produce, promoting sustainable development and developing new-style cooperatives.

While in Binh Dinh, Deputy PM Hue visited several heroic mothers and policy beneficiary households on the occasion of Vietnam’s Remembrance Day.

On the afternoon of the same day, the Deputy PM presented a certificate recognising Tay Hoa district, in neighbouring Phu Yen province, as a new-style rural district.
