Central – Central Highlands mathematical conference opens in Dak Lak

The third Central & Central Highlands Region Mathematical Conference opened at the Tay Nguyen (Central Highlands) University in Buon Ma Thuot city, Dak Lak province on August 2.

The event has brought together 250 delegates, including researchers, lecturers, teachers, PhD candidates and students of mathematics branch from cities and provinces nationwide.

During the three-day conference, participants will present 125 scientific reports related to the following subjects: Algebra - Geometry – Topology, Math calculus, Optimisation and Scientific Calculation, Probability - Statistics and Financial Mathematics, and Mathematics Teaching and History.

The event is held biennially, offering a forum for scientists to present and announce their mathematical research outcomes, while discussing urgent issues aiming to develop Vietnam’s mathematics subject.
