The event showcases the manuscripts of the testament drafted in May 1965 and the version publicised in 1969 when the leader passed away.
The organisers also put on display the photos chronicling the heroic struggle of the southern people and armed forces under the Party leadership in the resistance war against the US.
As part of the exhibition, the achievements of the Ho Chi Minh City, government and people are also put on show.
In his opening speech, Phan Nguyen Nhu Khue, head of the city’s department of communication and education, stated that the exhibition illustrates the basic contents of President Ho Chi Minh’s testament.
They are the ideas of national independence aligned with socialism, revolutionary ethics, respect for the people and democracy promotion.
Similar exhibitions are also taking place at Dong Khoi Street, the Labour Cultural Palace and the Youth Cultural House.
The exhibition will last until September 15.
