Various Mid-Autumn Festival activities held nationwide

Children across the country have had the chance to enjoy the traditional Mid-Autumn Festival atmosphere with various eye-catching activities.

A Mid-Autumn Festival 2019 and a special arts performance were held at the Vietnam Exhibition Centre for Culture and Art in Hanoi on September 11.

Within the framework of the festival, an exhibition was also organised which introduced many documents, documentary films and pictures of Uncle Ho with children on the occasion of Mid-Autumn Festival.

The Border Guard Command of the central province of Quang Binh has just coordinated with charity organisations to present more than 500 gifts to needy students in the border commune of Thuong Trach on the occasion of the new school year and Mid-Autumn Festival.

A Mid-Autumn Festival programme was held by the Youth Union of the central province of Quang Ngai on September 11, bringing joy to students and children in the remote communes of the province.

On the occasion, the provincial Youth Union also presented 1,650 gifts worth nearly VND200 million to outstanding students who are living in difficult circumstances.

Also, on the same day, the Youth Union in coordination with the Department of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs of Thua Thien - Hue Province held an event celebrating the Mid-Autumn Festival.

In addition to enjoying art performances and joining folk games, children received meaningful gifts.

Accompanied by an exciting lion dance, the pupils joined a sparkling lantern parade through main streets of Phan Thiet City.
