The complex, which is designed as the first and most modern of its kind in Vietnam, embraces five facilities including a centre for preventive medicine and early diagnosis, a 1,000-bed hospital, a sanatorium and a rehabilitation centre using Western and Vietnamese treatment methods, a research and development centre, and a geriatric centre and nursing home.

The complex will be equipped with the world’s most modern treatment technology, which helps in increasing the effectiveness of treatment and support services while reducing treatment costs for patients.

Addressing the event, Chairman of Hanoi Municipal People’s Committee Nguyen Duc Chung stressed that the Party and State have created a favourable environment to encourage the development of non-State medical facilities.

He expressed his pleasure that with the construction of the project, Hanoi will host an international-standard medical complex in the near future, contributing to improving the quality of healthcare services in the city.

He also pledged that the city’s authorities will create most favourable conditions for investors during the implementation of the project so that it can receive its first patients in the second quarter of 2022 as scheduled.

At the ceremony, the TH Group and TH Medical inked a cooperation agreement with Japan’s Keio University and Keio University Hospital on the management, operation and personnel exchange of the complex.
