At the event, Son La City’s leaders informed the working group on the locality’s achievements in socio-economic development, social welfare insurance, and poverty reduction.

Director Tran Thi Kieu Thanh Binh congratulated the provincial authorities and people of Son La on these encouraging outcomes, hailing that Son La is a cradle of revolutionary movements.

She stressed that the national special relic site of Son La Prison, where thousands of Vietnamese patriots were detained by the French colonialists during the 1930-1945 period, was a training place nurturing the fighting spirit of many Party leaders during the national struggle for national independence.

Nhan Dan newspaper always works side by side with the Son La Provincial Party Committee, local authorities and people, she reaffirmed.
