So far, the total number of Covid-19 cases remains at 240, including 149 individuals who arrived here from foreign countries (accounting for 62.1%) and 91 secondary infections.
Out of patients, 90 have recovered and were discharged from hospital. Among those who are being treated in medical facilities nationwide, 21 have tested negative once and 18 produced negative results when they were tested for the second time.
Four severe cases, who are being treated at the National Hospital of Tropical Diseases, have progressed well. The 20th patient has been disconnected from ECMO (the extracorporeal membrane oxygenation) equipment.

The MoH asked the localities to vigorously implement the documents of the Politburo, the Secretariat, the Government, the Prime Minister and the National Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control.
The steering committees for Covid-19 prevention and control in localities need to regularly update and supplement response plans in accordance with the real situation and prepare measures in case of any escalation in the disease.
