Assoc. Prof. Dang Quoc Bao, chairman of the council, said President Ho Chi Minh’s ideology is a large system of issues relevant to strategies and tactics of Vietnam’s revolution. It not only applied but also creatively developed the Marxism-Leninism in the revolutions of the country and the world.

The leader’s thoughts have become a priceless spiritual asset of all Vietnamese generations and also the lodestar leading the Party and people to successes in the revolution for national independence and socialism, he noted.

At the discussion, presentations were made on such issues as the harmony of Ho Chi Minh’s ideology and style, and the President’s thoughts on public health care, religions, culture, and mass mobilisation.

Also on May 17, the Ho Chi Minh Museum’s branch in the central province of Binh Thuan opened an exhibition that spotlighted Ho Chi Minh’s activities at the Duc Thanh School, where he worked as a teacher before leaving the country to seek ways for national salvation.

On display are nearly 200 paintings and photos of the leader, along with important documents in his life and career. It also introduces role models in the studying and following of Ho Chi Minh’s thoughts, morality and style in Binh Thuan province.
