They also discussed and adopted the personnel plan of the VJA executive committee for the 2020-2025 term and contributed ideas to a draft action plan towards realising the Secretariat’s directive on strengthening the Party’s leadership over VJA operations.

VJA Chairman Thuan Huu, Nhan Dan’s Editor-in-chief, stated that several of the association’s events originally scheduled for April will be moved to June due to the coronavirus outbreak.

He added that the VJA’s emulation congress will be held in August, the 14th national press awards will take place on June 21 and the 11th Congress of the VJA will convene in December.

The VJA chairman noted that there is a backlog of tasks to be implemented in the remainder of the year, requiring the executive committee to step up their efforts so that such tasks may be fulfilled successfully.
