The site, spanning 1,200 square metres, includes a 450-square-metre wooden memorial house.
Lieutenant General Nguyen Hoang Thuy, Commander of the Military Zone 9, said the site is a place for military officers and people in the delta to come paying respect to the late President.
It contributes to educating the younger generation on the country’s patriotic tradition and revolutionary spirit, encouraging them to study and follow the ideology, morality and style of President Ho Chi Minh and make contributions to their country, he added.
