National Radio Broadcasting Festival honours best radio programmes

The National Radio Broadcasting Festival concluded on June 28 in the Mekong Delta city of Cao Lanh, Dong Thap Province, with a ceremony to present awards to the best radio programmes.

The event saw the participation of 62 radio-television stations from throughout the country, 16 units of the national radio broadcaster Voice of Vietnam, the Military Radio-Television Centre and the People’s Public Security Media Department.

At the awards ceremony, the organisers presented 25 gold prizes, 65 silver prizes, 80 bronze prizes and 55 certificates of merit to the best works, as well as six additional prizes for the best live broadcast hosts.

During the three-day festival, there were workshops related to broadcasting technologies in the digital era, and changing social awareness and behaviour through radio sketch shows.

An exhibition on radio broadcasting equipment and technology and a photo exhibition on people working in the sector were also held.
