An announcement from the Sub-Committee for Treatment under the National Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control said that the two Burmese and Vietnamese duo were released from the Hanoi-based National Hospital for Tropical Diseases this morning, following their full recovery from the disease.

The two Vietnamese nationalities, known as Patient 356 (male, 42 years old) and Patient 359 (male, 35 years old), were hospitalised on July 5 and had multiple negative test results before being given the all-clear.

The Burmese duo – Patient 383 (male, 40 years old) and Patient 413 (male, 31 years old) – were admitted to the hospital on July 19 and were also released after showing multiple negative test results.

The patients’ health is now stable, without any fever, cough, or shortness of breath, thus making them eligible for the all-clear.
