Four cars from the train were transported by sea from France to Hai Phong and then carried by road to Hanoi.

After arriving at the Nhon Depot on October 20, the train cars were then put onto the tracks, assembled and driven to the technical zone awaiting trial run.

After being put on the tracks, the cars are assembled into a train and tested.

The remaining nine trains of the Nhon-Hanoi Station Line are being manufactured in France and will be transported to Vietnam in 2021.

The line is expected to enter service on the 8.5-kilometre-long elevated section in the latter half of 2021 while 4 kilometres of underground tracks will be put into use by the end of 2022.
