Deputy Editor-in-chief Que Dinh Nguyen said that the presentation of the spring edition to soldiers has been the newspaper’s tradition implemented in cooperation with local Party committees, ministries, agencies and enterprises over the past ten years.
He said it is a highly meaningful gift that Nhan Dan reporters and editors offer to soldiers who are safeguarding the border in remote areas of the country.
On behalf of the recipients, Major General Ngo Quang Hung of the 1st Military Region thanked the leaders of Nhan Dan, ministries, agencies and enterprises for their concern for members of the armed forces, especially those in border and island areas.
The major general added that through the Nhan Dan spring edition, soldiers and people in border regions will learn more about the Party and State’s laws and policies.
