On February 16, the Air Force’s 375th Division and a sister unit in Da Nang planted about 3,400 trees of various kinds on the first day of the festival.
On the same day, the Military Command of Nghe An Province held the tree planting festival for 2021, during which the officers and soldiers of the provincial armed forces plan to plant more than 80,000 trees, including 25,000 fruit trees and 55,000 others for timber and shade.
In the central province of Quang Ngai, a tree planting festival was held by the 3rd Battalion, 887th Regimen of the provincial Military Command.
After the launching ceremony, planted more than 2,400 timber and fruit trees were planted, helping to cover unforested hills with trees and create green spaces.
