NDO – On January 12, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism announced the top 10 culture, sports and tourism events in 2018.

NDO - Strong export growth and a better-than-expected trade surplus are the notable bright spots of Vietnam’s export sector, especially when the world economy was rife with numerous difficulties in the past year.
NDO – On December 28, the Vietnam Red Cross Society (VNRC) Central Committee announced its top ten outstanding humanity and charitable events in 2018 as follows:
NDO – On December 27 The Department of Fine Arts, Photography and Exhibition under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism announced the top 10 events of the sector in 2018.
NDO – Owing to continuous reforms in football and focused investments, particularly in Olympic events, Vietnamese sports have achieved significant breakthroughs in 2018, with a lot of high results reaped by Vietnamese athletes at both domestic and international arenas. However, there still remain many limitations and difficulties, requiring the country’s sports sector to take a strategic and long-term vision to develop sustainably and conquer new peaks of performance.
NDO – The top 10 outstanding scientific and technological (S&T) events in 2018 were announced by the Vietnam Science and Technology Journalists’ Club (under the Vietnam Journalists’ Association) on December 25.
NDO – The year 2018 witnessed a massive collection of gold medals won by excellent Vietnamese students at the International Olympiads in the fields of chemistry, biology, physics, mathematics and informatics.
NDO – Vietnam's rice export volume is likely to reach around 6.15 million tonnes and be worth over US$3.15 billion in 2018, up 5.7% in volume and 19.6% in value over the previous year.
