US President Donald Trump arrives in Vietnam for DPRK-USA summit

US President Donald Trump arrived at Noi Bai International Airport, Hanoi, on the evening of February 26 for his second summit with Chairman of the Workers’ Party of Korea and Chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) Kim Jong Un, and bilateral activities in Vietnam.

President Trump was welcomed by Minister-Chairman of the Government Office Mai Tien Dung, Standing Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Bui Thanh Son, Chairman of the Hanoi city People’s Committee Nguyen Duc Chung, Deputy Minister of Public Security - Senior Lieutenant General Bui Van Nam, Vice Chairman of the Presidential Office Chu Van Yem, and Vietnamese Ambassador to the US Ha Kim Ngoc.
