Nam won two additional rating points by advancing into the quarterfinals of the recent Vietnam F9 Futures, thereby increasing his accumulated ATP points to 48.

Concerning the ATP’s doubles rankings, the 19-year-old player enjoyed even greater progress, jumping up 93 notches against last week to stand in 619th position with 81 points.

The promotion was mostly attributed to Nam’s Vietnam F9 Futures doubles crown, which earned him another 18 rating points.

This was the best world ranking ever reached by a Vietnamese tennis player in the men’s doubles event.

Meanwhile, another Vietnamese, Trinh Linh Giang, earned himself a spot in the ATP singles rankings for the first time, at 2,049th place, with a solitary point after securing one victory at the Vietnam F9 Futures tournament.
