Vietnam wins men’s team title at SEA table tennis championships

Vietnam has won the men’s team title at the Southeast Asia Table Tennis Championships 2016 in Indonesia on December 21.

The team comprises of four members Dinh Quang Linh, Nguyen Anh Tu, Doan Ba Tuan Anh and Nguyen Duc Tuan.

The event featured five teams, competing in a round-robin format.

The Vietnamese players easily defeated both Indonesia and Malaysia 3-0 while only just beating Singapore 3-2 to earn the championship.

Meanwhile, the women’s team has defeated Indonesia, Thailand and Malaysia and will play the championship match against Singapore on December 22.
